About this site
Baunei sits on the Golfo di Orosei coast of Ogliastra in eastern Sardinia, an area known for its limestone cliffs along the Tyrrhenian Sea. The Nasello wreck lies off this stretch of coastline in a zone otherwise marked by caves and rocky points, reached by boat from the small harbor below the Baunei plateau. It rests on a wreck bottom at a maximum depth of around 31 metres and is rated an advanced dive.
