About this site
La Leccia lies along the coast of Elba Island in the Province of Livorno, on the Tuscan side of the Tyrrhenian Sea. The site takes its name from the holm oak, or leccio, common to the island's coastal vegetation, and is reached from the shoreline of this stretch of Elba. Divers here have also reported barracuda passing through the area.
