About this site
La Reina lies off the coast of Baja California Sur, in the stretch of the Gulf of California near La Paz. This part of the peninsula's eastern shoreline is known for its rocky points and islet dive sites, typically reached by boat from the marinas around La Paz. The site has a rock bottom and reaches a maximum depth of about 25 metres, rated as a beginner dive. Manta rays are a regular sighting here, and divers have also reported eagle rays, mackerel, moray eels, sea turtles, and even orcas and whales passing through.
