La Terraza lies off Isla de la Juventud, on Cuba's southern coast in the Caribbean Sea, an area of cays and reef systems near the Jardines de la Reina archipelago that is protected as a national park. The site has a maximum depth of around 10 metres, making it a shallow dive over the reef terrain typical of this stretch of coastline.
