About this site
Located off Townsville, this wreck sits upright in 30 meters of water. The intact structure attracts schools of batfish, trevally, and barracuda. Soft corals and sponges cover the deck, while resident turtles often glide past. Strong currents bring pelagics, making it ideal for advanced divers. Visibility often exceeds 20 meters. The wreck's history as a 19th-century steamship adds intrigue. Best dived on slack tide.
