Lake Nagawicka is a freshwater lake dive in Delafield, Wisconsin, entered from the shore at the beach area of Naga-waukee Park. Access is straightforward: drop off equipment, park, and walk to the beach. Permits are required through the park.
Depth at Lake Nagawicka: the lake floor drops off quickly past the designated swimming zone. Experienced divers often work along the bottom at around 30 to 35 ft (9 to 11 m). Reported maximum depths vary, with one account giving 90 ft (27 m) and another about 26 ft (8 m). Most recreational dives are within 15 to 30 ft (5 to 9 m).
What there is to see: the natural life is typical of a temperate lake. The interest is in artificial objects on the bottom, including cement statues and a discarded keg. Visibility varies, as it does in most temperate lakes.
The site is better for exploring and practising navigation than for abundant wildlife, and it works for divers of various experience levels.
