About this site
This wreck lies in the waters off Olongapo, in Subic Bay on the west coast of Luzon in the Philippines, an area known for several sunk vessels left over from the former US naval base there. The Landing Craft Utility rests on a wreck bottom reaching a maximum depth of around 22 metres and is considered a beginner dive. Lionfish are common on the hull, and divers have also reported barracuda, cuttlefish, jacks or amberjack, octopus, sea turtles, and stingrays around the site.
