About this site
Lighthouse Reef is a shallow reef dive at Malapascua in the Philippines, at depths of 5 to 10 metres, and it is known for mandarin fish and macro life.
Mandarin fish emerge from the rubble to mate on sunset dives, and seahorses are also seen here. Blue-ringed octopus come out on night dives.
Divers have also reported bobtail squid, frogfish, mantis shrimp and decorator crabs on the reef, which has a light current and good visibility.
