Las Puertas lies off the coast of the Canary Islands, part of Spain in the Atlantic off northwest Africa, at coordinates placing it near La Palma. The reef site reaches a maximum depth of around 7 metres and is generally rated an intermediate dive despite the shallow depth. Divers have also reported barracuda passing through the area.
