About this site

La Bajita is a wreck dive off the coast of La Palma, one of the westernmost islands in the Canary archipelago, in Atlantic waters off Spain. The island's volcanic shoreline drops into deep water fairly quickly, and the site is typically reached by boat from the small ports and towns nearby. It sits on a wreck bottom with a maximum depth of around 32 metres and good visibility, rated advanced. Barracuda, octopus, and seahorses are common on the wreck, and divers have also reported damselfish, eagle rays, moray eels, and stingrays there. Penetration of the wreck has been noted by some divers as a hazard worth caution.
