Le Canon lies off Ramatuelle on the Var coast of the French Riviera, near the Saint-Tropez peninsula in Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur. This stretch of the Mediterranean coastline is characterized by rocky points and calanque-like inlets typical of the Var department.
