Le Donator

Le Donator is a wreck dive off the Hyeres Islands on France's Var coast in the Mediterranean, in the Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur region. The Donator was a cargo ship that sank in the 1980s near Port-Cros and now lies on its side on a sandy bottom, broken into sections that divers can swim through. Depths typically range from around 20 metres near the top of the structure down to about 45 metres at the seabed, which puts much of the dive in advanced diver territory. It is a well known technical and recreational wreck site in this part of the Mediterranean, often visited by boats operating out of Hyeres and the nearby islands, with groupers and conger eels commonly reported around the hull.
