Le Plateau des Aresquiers lies off the coast of the Herault department in Occitanie, in the stretch of Mediterranean coastline near Palavas-les-Flots, southern France. This rocky plateau sits on a low-lying sedimentary coast otherwise dominated by sandy beaches and lagoons, making it a distinct rocky feature reached by boat from the small harbours in the area. Divers exploring the plateau have reported sightings of the Pink Coryphella, a nudibranch species, among the rocky outcrops.
