Lhazikuraadi lies within Meemu Atoll, one of the less frequently dived atolls in the central Maldives. The atoll sits between North and South Maalhosmadulu on the map of the archipelago, reached mainly by liveaboard or from the local island airport, and its reef systems are spread across a lagoon ringed by channels connecting to the open ocean.
