Little Lembeh

Little Lembeh sits near Tanjung Pude on the coast of North Sulawesi, across the region from the better known Lembeh Strait, and shares the same dark volcanic sand slopes typical of this stretch of Sulawesi coastline. Sites in this area are generally reached by short boat rides from coastal dive operations based around Bitung and the surrounding peninsula. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 30 metres and is rated an intermediate dive. Divers here have reported blackspotted puffers, blue Linckia starfish, boring and small giant clams, Papuan spotted jellies, and small critters like the Puntang goby and segmented blenny, in keeping with the muck-diving character of the broader Lembeh area.
