About this site
This site off Queensland’s coast features a submerged mooring line encrusted with vibrant soft corals and sponges. Schools of trevally and barracuda patrol the area, while reef sharks often cruise the sandy bottom. The current can be strong, attracting pelagics. Depths range from 12 to 25 meters, with excellent visibility. Nearby coral bommies host clownfish and moray eels. Ideal for drift diving, with occasional sightings of manta rays. The mooring structure creates an artificial reef teeming with life. Best dived on slack tide for calmer conditions.
