About this site
This artificial reef sits in Port Stephens, a sunken military tank now encrusted with soft corals and sponges. Schools of yellowtail and trevally dart around the structure, while wobbegong sharks often rest on the sandy bottom nearby. Depths range from 12 to 18 meters, with good visibility and mild currents. The tank's open hatches allow easy penetration for divers, making it ideal for beginners and photographers. Surrounded by kelp beds, the site offers a mix of marine life and historical intrigue.
