About this site
The M/V Castor lies off the Atlantic coast of Florida near Fort Lauderdale, in Broward County waters where boats out of Port Everglades and nearby marinas run to a series of artificial reef wrecks along the reef lines parallel to shore. The wreck sits on a sand and reef bottom with a maximum depth of around 33.5 metres and is rated an advanced dive. Divers have reported strong current at the site, along with grouper around the structure.
