Madu Thila is a thila, a submerged reef pinnacle rising from the atoll floor, located in Baa Atoll in the Maldives. Baa Atoll is a UNESCO biosphere reserve known for its reef systems and seasonal manta and whale shark aggregations, particularly around Hanifaru Bay. Thilas throughout the Maldives typically feature overhangs, small caves, and soft coral growth attracting reef fish, and are usually dived by boat from resorts or liveaboards in the area.
