About this site
Mahutu offers a thrilling drift dive along Rangiroa’s outer reef, where strong currents attract pelagic action. Expect schools of barracuda, gray reef sharks, and occasional hammerheads patrolling the deep blue. The steep coral wall drops dramatically into the abyss, covered in vibrant soft corals and gorgonians. Visibility often exceeds 30 meters, with clear, warm waters year-round. Ideal for advanced divers due to the swift currents, this site delivers adrenaline and awe in equal measure.
