About this site
Mak Cantik lies off Redang Island, part of the marine park archipelago on the South China Sea coast of Terengganu, Malaysia, and dive sites here are typically reached by short boat trips from the island's resorts and jetties. It's a cave site with a maximum depth of around 12 metres, rated a beginner dive. Divers have reported choppy water on the open sea side, so conditions there can be a bit rougher than inside the site itself. Grouper, octopus, squid, and triggerfish have also been spotted around the site.
