About this site
Makaha Beach Park lies on the leeward coast of Oahu, Hawaii, west of Honolulu, an area better known for its beach and shoreline surf breaks. The dive site here is a cave and cavern system with a bottom made of cave rock, reaching a maximum depth of around 15 metres, and is rated a beginner dive. Divers have reported caverns and cave passages as features to be aware of, and an eagle ray has also been spotted at the site.
