About this site
Maku Dropoff plunges dramatically from shallow reefs into deep blue water off Oahu. Vibrant coral gardens thrive along the wall, teeming with Hawaiian green sea turtles, reef sharks, and schools of tropical fish. Strong currents attract pelagic visitors like eagle rays and occasional manta rays. The steep topography creates thrilling drift dives with excellent visibility. Best suited for intermediate to advanced divers due to occasional surge and depth. A stunning showcase of Hawaii's underwater biodiversity.
