About this site
The Maldive Victory lies near Male, the capital of the Maldives, close to the main international airport channel where the ship struck the reef and sank in 1981. Divers on this wreck have reported sightings of Indian bullethead parrotfish, roundhead parrotfish, striped surgeonfish, zigzag wrasse, oriental sweetlips, longfin batfish, small giant clams, reef manta rays, and even whale sharks passing through the area.
