About this site
Mandarin Valley sits off Borneo, in the waters where East Kalimantan meets the Malaysian side of the island, likely near the Semporna area given the mix of Kalimantan and Malaysia in its listed location. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 20 metres, with light current making it an intermediate dive. Ghost pipefish and nudiverse of nudibranchs are common finds here, and divers have also reported frogfish, mandarinfish, squid, and stonefish on the site's sandy slopes and rubble patches.
