About this site
Mangel Halto is a reef and beach area on Aruba's southeastern coast near the town of Pos Chiquito, facing a sheltered stretch of Caribbean Sea protected by an offshore reef, and it doubles as a popular shore entry point for diving and snorkeling. The Kappel wreck lies within this reef system over a reef bottom, reaching a maximum depth of around 31.2 metres, with the site rated as a beginner dive. Divers exploring the area have also reported nurse sharks around the reef.
