Plonco Reef sits off the coast of Aruba, an island in the southern Caribbean known for its fringing reefs along the leeward western and southern shorelines. Dive sites in this stretch of the island are typically reached by short boat rides from the coastal towns near Oranjestad. The reef bottom here reaches a maximum depth of around 22 metres, and divers have reported lobster tucked among the reef structure.
