About this site
Mangrove lies along Bali's coastline near mangrove stands, reached by boat from nearby coastal villages working this stretch of the island. It is a reef dive to a maximum depth of around 20 metres, rated for beginners, with light current and great visibility on typical days. Divers have reported lobster, humphead wrasse, nudibranchs, and sea turtles on the reef. Boat traffic can be busy here, and at certain points current has been known to pull divers out to sea, so conditions are worth checking with the operator before entering the water.
