About this site

Mantigue Island is a small islet off the eastern coast of Camiguin Island in Mindanao, the Philippines, reached by short boat trips from the mainland. The waters around it form part of a marine sanctuary popular with day visitors from Camiguin's coastal towns. The dive site here is a reef reaching a maximum depth of around 40 metres, rated advanced, with surge and variable conditions reported around the reef. Barracuda are a regular sighting, and divers have also reported batfish, eagle rays, mackerel, napoleon wrasse, parrotfish, snapper, sweetlips, trevally, unicornfish and other wrasse species on the reef.
