About this site
Mao'ao (卯澳) is a fishing-village bay near Fulong on the far northeast coast, dived from the abalone ponds beside the village. Boulders and reef at 4–6 m give way to sand gullies at 8 m and isolated reef heads at 10–15 m. It is a beginner site with separate north and south entries; rays and flatfish turn up on the sand.
