About this site
The Mary Celeste is a shipwreck site off Southampton, Bermuda, part of the western North Atlantic island group whose surrounding reef line has claimed hundreds of vessels over the centuries. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 40 metres and is rated an advanced dive. Bermuda's reefs are known for these treacherous shallow coral formations, which have made the waters around the islands a graveyard for ships over hundreds of years.
