About this site
Mas Thila is a thila, a coral pinnacle rising from the atoll floor, located in Haa Dhaalu Atoll in the far north of the Maldives. This northern part of the archipelago sees far less dive traffic than the central atolls around Male, as it lies farther from the main tourist routes and is mostly accessed by liveaboards or the small number of resorts in the area. The formation sits within the lagoon and channel systems typical of Haa Dhaalu, surrounded by the open water of the atoll.
