About this site
Mashura is a wall dive off Kalhaidhoo island in Laamu Atoll, in the southern Maldives, reached by boat from local island resorts or guesthouses in the area. It sits in the outer atoll rim, with a maximum depth of around 19.1 metres and a rating suited to beginners. Divers have reported fusiliers, grouper, snapper, surgeonfish, unicornfish and nudibranchs along the wall, along with occasional manta ray sightings, and some have noted unexpected currents at the site.
