About this site
Levant Island lies off the coast of Hyeres in the Var department, part of the Iles d'Hyeres chain on the French Riviera in Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur. The island's eastern and southern shorelines drop into the Mediterranean along a mostly rocky, undeveloped coast, much of it bordering a French military testing zone that restricts access to certain areas.
