About this site
Mauritius Point lies off Agatti, one of the inhabited islands of the Lakshadweep archipelago in the Arabian Sea off India's southwest coast. The site sits within the coral atoll structure typical of the chain, reached by boat from Agatti's small settlement, where the lagoon gives way to surrounding reef drop-offs. Divers here have also reported collector urchins and spotted linckia sea stars on the reef.
