Mayabon Pinnacle lies off the coast of Negros Oriental in the Visayas region of the Philippines, along a stretch of coastline known for its steep volcanic drop-offs into the Bohol Sea. Dive operators in the area typically run boat trips out from nearby coastal towns to reach sites like this one. The pinnacle tops out at around 23 metres and is rated a beginner dive. Divers have reported frogfish, lionfish, nudibranchs, and pipefish here, and there have even been sightings of whale sharks passing through.
