About this site
Lake Geneva shore site at Meillerie near Évian with parking directly on the beach; a working quarry, so diving is allowed only on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays or after 17:00 on weekdays. Recommended for Level 2 with lake experience; hazards are the depth, occasional fishing nets and the harbour entrance to the left. Keep to the side of the Arctic char spawning ground and avoid disturbing the fish in season.
