About this site
Mishiragi sits off Okinawa Island in the Ryukyu chain, part of Japan's southernmost prefecture rather than Kyushu proper. This stretch of coastline is fringed by coral shelves and channels typical of Okinawa's western and southern dive areas, usually reached by small boat from local harbors. The site tops out at around 15 metres and is rated a beginner dive. Divers have also reported trevally and tuna passing through here.
