About this site
Maeda Flats sits below Cape Maeda on the west coast of Okinawa's main island, near the town of Onna, facing the East China Sea. The cape's rocky headland is a well known access point for shore divers along this stretch of coast. The flats reach a maximum depth of around 8 metres and are rated a beginner dive, making them one of the more accessible entry points near the cape.
