Molhe Do Farol refers to the breakwater near the lighthouse at the entrance to the Ria Formosa channel, off Faro in the Algarve region of southern Portugal. This stretch of coast marks the passage between the barrier islands and the Atlantic, close to Faro's harbor approach.
