About this site
Montaña Rusa lies within Coiba National Park off Chiriquí province on Panama's Pacific coast, part of a remote, current-swept cluster of dive sites around Coiba Island and its outlying seamounts. The reef here reaches a maximum depth of around 40 metres and is rated an advanced dive. Divers have reported barracuda, bull sharks, hammerhead sharks, reef sharks, snapper, stingrays, and trevally around the site.
