About this site
Monte Cofano is a limestone headland on the northwest coast of Sicily, within the nature reserve of the same name near Custonaci in the province of Trapani. The coastline here is rugged, with cliffs dropping into the Tyrrhenian Sea and small coves used for shore access along the reserve's edge. Divers exploring the waters off the headland have reported mauve stinger jellyfish in the area.
