About this site
This dive site off Sicily's northwest coast features dramatic underwater cliffs and caves teeming with marine life. The rocky formations create swim-throughs and overhangs where groupers, moray eels, and colorful nudibranchs thrive. Clear Mediterranean waters offer excellent visibility, typically 20-30 meters. Depths range from 5 to 40 meters, catering to all experience levels. The site's volcanic origins create fascinating topography with crevices and boulders. Octopuses frequently hide among the rocks, while schools of barracuda patrol the blue. Currents are usually mild, making it ideal for relaxed exploration. The warmest water temperatures reach 26°C in summer.
