Morning Star lies off the Calvados coast of Normandy, in the English Channel near the well known invasion beaches of the region. This stretch of water holds numerous wartime wrecks from the 1944 landings, scattered across sandy and rocky seabed off towns like Arromanches and Courseulles-sur-Mer. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 30 metres and is rated as a beginner dive.
