About this site
Chinboku no Hayashi (沈木の林) is a shore-entry freshwater site on Lake Motosu in Fujikawaguchiko, Yamanashi, reached by climbing down a steep bank. Several sunken logs lie across a slope that falls away sharply, with large boulders scattered among them and a car that sank long ago; maximum depth 30 m, average around 10 m, suitable from beginner level.
