About this site
Nagasaki Ne (長崎根) is a shore-entry freshwater site on Lake Motosu in Fujikawaguchiko, Yamanashi, with a balance of sunken trees and fish watching in both shallow and deeper water; maximum depth 20 m, average around 5 m, suitable from beginner level. Schools of pale chub and pond smelt, carp and black bass are seen in the shallows. Mt Fuji and Mt Ryugatake are in clear view from the site.
