About this site
Mushroom Rock lies off the island of Samal, in the Davao Gulf on the eastern side of Mindanao in the Philippines. The site takes its name from a distinctive rock formation, a pinnacle reached by boat from the coastal resorts and towns along Samal's shoreline. It reaches a maximum depth of around 25 metres and is rated a beginner dive.
