Tagbaobo lies off Samal Island in the Davao Gulf, part of the Island Garden City of Samal on the eastern side of Mindanao. The area sits along a coastline of small coves and reef fringes that local dive operators reach by short boat trips from the mainland Davao side of the gulf.
