About this site
The MV Mars wreck sits near Sir William Peel Island in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, an Indian archipelago in the Bay of Bengal reached on multi-day boat trips from bases such as Havelock and Port Blair. The wreck lies at a maximum depth of around 15 metres and is rated a beginner dive, though visibility here tends to run poor. It rests on a bottom of wreck structure, and divers have reported parrotfish and triggerfish around the site.
