The Slope

The Slope lies in the Andaman Islands, in the waters off the southern reaches of the archipelago that draw much of the region's dive traffic. It sits over a reef bottom with a maximum depth of around 16 metres and is considered a beginner-friendly dive. Fusiliers and wrasse are common on the reef, and divers have also reported angelfish, bannerfish, barracuda, grouper, snapper, triggerfish, tuna, and manta rays passing through, along with boring giant clams, tawny hermit crabs, onespot demoiselles, and Indo-Pacific sergeant majors on the reef structure itself.
